The primary purpose of this job is to answer incoming member inquiries about collection activities and research problems in response to member inquiries and requests. The incumbent will perform all duties related to the processing of charged-off accounts, including installation loans, credit cards and other losses. This position will be responsible for responding in writing or by telephone to resolve member issues and disputes and notifying members of outcomes upon completion.
PenFed is hiring a Collections & Servicing Platform Administrator to work onsite at our San Antonio, Texas; Omaha, Nebraska or Tysons, Virginia location. The System Administrator will oversee and maintain the department s software systems crucial to operations. This role involves ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficiency of software applications and platforms across various environments. The role will have a strong collections and/or consumer loan servicing background, a thorough understanding of the software system and will work closely with Information Technology, Business Analysts, and Product team members to test, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot.
PenFed is hiring a (Hybrid) Mortgage Servicing Loan Care Specialist at our San Antonio, Texas service center. The primary purpose of this job is to provide best-in-class member service by answering incoming calls from members regarding the servicing of their mortgage loans to include billing statements, escrow questions (tax, insurance, and escrow analysis), misapplied payments and other servicing functions while maintaining confidentially of member information. This is a fast-paced call center environment, so the candidate will be expected to take a high volume of calls daily. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 10:00am-7:00pm CST
PenFed is hiring a Customer Service Representative to work onsite at our San Antonio, Texas service center. The primary purpose of this position is to provide best-in-class member service by answering incoming calls, providing basic account and product information while performing account transactions and maintenance. This position will also be responsible for educating members on a wide variety of products and services and making recommendations for the member s financial needs. This is a fast-paced call center environment which requires the incumbent to take a high volume of calls daily. The incumbent must successfully complete the member service training program including on-the-job training and call monitoring. Starting rates will range from $19.00 and $22.00 per hour, depending on education and relevant work experience. The next expected start date for this position is in January 2026.
PenFed is hiring a Digital Mortgage Loan Officer Associate to work onsite at our San Antonio, Texas service center. The primary purpose of this job is to learn how to become a trusted advisor to our members and assist with the appropriate decision of mortgage or home equity loan for their unique needs. This position will spend a significant amount of time in classroom training to learn about various mortgage products, member engagement, compliance, mortgage rules and regulations, loan origination systems and sales techniques. At the end of the training, incumbents will be required to take and pass the Company Sponsored licensing test. Start Date: 1/26/26

The Collection Analyst Reporting is accountable for the design and delivery of meaningful reporting of data and analytics supporting collections strategic initiatives. The Collection Analyst Reporting will design and build technical reporting solutions that support and enhance collection unit decision-making, and ensure data is stored, collected, and disseminated throughout the collection unit and PenFed.
