About Our Internship Program

A summer internship program revolving around four pillars: Learn, Lead, Inspire, and Hire
A weekly internship Learning Days where interns interact with our executive leaders and learn about many aspects of the business
Career readiness training and business acumen development
Professional leadership seminars provided through formal training and intern leader roles
Interns have the opportunity to participate in a philanthropic project by hosting the PenFed Summer Blood Drive
Work that makes a difference by helping people do better and achieve their financial goals
Full intern integration within business departments across the enterprise with meaningful and impactful projects to solve PenFed’s current business challenges
Interns are given the opportunity to be mentored by industry leaders
A robust program that provides interns with useful tools and experiences to set them up for success in future endeavors and to help them achieve their career goals
Collaborative internship capstone project including various aspects of our business: finance, technology, and marketing

Our Four Pillar Intern Program

Our summer internship program revolving around our four pillars; Learn, Lead, Inspire, and Hire. Program elements include professional leadership development, team management, personality assessments, executive presentations and interaction, a real-world intern project, team building events, volunteering, career readiness training, social media training, mentoring, and meaningful work related to desired career paths while solving real world business problems.

Here’s what you can expect

Step 1

Take a look at the open positions and submit your application.

Step 2

If you meet the requirements of the role, a 30 minute phone screening is scheduled with one of our team members.

Step 3

If the screening goes well, an interview with the hiring manager is the next step.

Step 4

If you’re selected for the role we’ll send an offer your way!
