The primary purpose of this position is to provide best-in-class member service by answering incoming calls, providing basic account and product information while performing account transactions and maintenance.  This position will also be responsible for educating members on a wide variety of products and services and making recommendations for the members’ financial needs. This is a fast-paced call center environment which requires the incumbent to take a high volume of calls daily.  The incumbent must successfully complete the member service training program including on-the-job training and call monitoring.

 

Starting salary for this role will range from $20.90 and $24.20 per hour, depending on education and relevant work experience. The expected start date for this position is June 22nd, 2026.

This role supports the management of PenFed’s information reporting to members, beneficiaries, state and federal government agencies. Key responsibilities include year-end tax reporting; escheatment/unclaimed property reporting; Puerto Rico year-end tax reporting; reporting and remitting required withholding payments; reconciling withholding accounts (federal, state, Puerto Rico, etc.); and supporting the Senior Manager in reviewing compliance procedures (including examinations), recommending improvements, and implementing process enhancements using AI and automation technologies.

PenFed is hiring a SalesForce Administrator - Collections & Servicing to work onsite at our San Antonio, Texas service center.  The Salesforce Administrator – Collections & Servicing will be part of a highly diverse team of business and tech-savvy individuals who support operational teams by improving, maintaining, and monitoring the software they use. This role involves ensuring stability, integrity, and efficiency of software applications across various environments that interact with our primary Salesforce platform. A day in the life of a Salesforce Administrator – Collections & Servicing might include addressing inquiries from end users related to issues or questions about Salesforce, meeting with stakeholders to define requirements for an upcoming system enhancement, leading user acceptance testing for the next release, or demoing a new feature to end users. An admin will have a strong consumer collections and/or loan servicing background, a thorough understanding of Salesforce, and the collaborative skills necessary to partner with various internal and external teams to configure, monitor, troubleshoot and deliver meaningful change.
