Real Estate Managing Broker

Job Overview
Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices PenFed Realty (PenFed Realty), a wholly owned subsidiary of PenFed Credit Union (PenFed), is hiring a Real Estate Managing Broker to work onsite at our East Wichita, Kansas office. The primary purpose of this job is to ensure continual branch growth through the implementation of unique marketing and business development strategies as well as build the foundation for strong business relationships through the recruitment, training and oversight of independent contractor real estate agents. This position will oversee the continued success of the branch by ensuring compliance with local, state & national rules/regulations, as well as open communication with a team of Compliance Specialists.

Develop business goals and strategies to meet objectives set by PenFed Realty leadership.
Work with all sales associates as needed, assisting with transactions and other issues. Must be able to handle demands of many associates with varying needs and time constraints.
Hire new & experienced agents, develop growth programs, train and retain independent contractor real estate agents.
Conduct Sales Meetings and training as needed.
Assist in the establishing of strategies to support the annual recruiting, mortgage, and membership objectives of the office.
Hold individual accountability reviews with each agent and coach them for successful performance.
Attend and participate in broker sales team meetings at a regular cadence as set by senior management.
Promote company image and values internally as well as externally.
Qualifications
Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.
Minimum of 5 years of experience working in real estate.
Proficiency with contact management software, Microsoft Office, IDX, MLS and other real estate related software.
Must be well-organized and service-minded, with good interpersonal skills. The role requires flexibility, resourcefulness, willingness to adapt to changing priorities, and ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build relationships. Ability to patiently and effectively work with demanding agents is required.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position will not supervise employees.
Licenses and Certifications
Kansas Real Estate Broker’s License required.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an office setting.
*Most roles require working in an office setting with moderate noise and the ability to lift 25 pounds.*
Travel
Limited travel to various worksites is required.
